Welsh Ploughman's Afternoon Tea on-board our vintage steam trains, departing Llanfair Caereinion (SY21 0SF) for a 16 mile round trip lasting 2 hours.
£60 per person. Welsh Ploughman's Afternoon Tea includes:
- 2-hour train journey in our vintage carriages
- Sliced Cooked Ham and Beef
- Mini Tin Loaves (Onion, Multi Grain and White)
- Selection of Welsh Cheeses
- Slices of Quiche, Pork Pie and Hog Roast Sausage Roll
- Scotch Egg
- Jones & Co Dower House Chutney
- Celtic Preserves Red Onion Marmalade
- Homemade Cheese Scones
- Side Salad including Celery and Grapes
- Selection of Three Welsh Ales (by the glass per person)
- Tea and Coffee
Spend time with loved ones, watch the rolling hills pass by and enjoy an afternoon ploughman's from traditional welsh ingredients at your table. Travel in our recently refurbished former Sierra Leone Railways carriage No.1066.
We are not able to accommodate dietary requirements on the day if not previously discussed.

ACCESSIBILITY: This vintage carriage is not wheelchair accessible and has a step up which may be difficult for those with additional access needs. Please contact us for more information.
Due to carriage seating layout, bookings for this experience must be a minimum of two people.
Unfortunately, we are not able to accomodate dogs on our catering services.
