Wine Tasting Train
We have partnered with Tanners Wine of Welshpool to bring you our Steam Train Tasting Experience.
£58 per person and includes:
- Two hour steam train journey in our vintage carriages.
- Fizz Reception - Glass of Tanners Cava on arrival.
- Tasting of 6 Tanners wines:
- 2 White
- 1 Rosé
- 2 Red
- 1 Sparkling
- On-board competition to win a bottle of sparkling wine.
- Complimentary Tanners Corkscrew, Booklet & 10% voucher.
Starting at Llanfair Caereinion (SY21 0SF), you’ll take a beautiful, scenic journey of sixteen miles lasting two hours accompanied by one of Tanner's knowledgeable wine tasters. An ideal way to celebrate a special occasion or enjoy quality time with friends.
Online booking is essential via wllr.org.uk. (Passengers for this experience must be aged 18 years or over).
ACCESSIBILITY – Our vintage carriage has a step-up which may be difficult for those with additional access needs, contact us for more information.
Due to carriage seating layout, bookings for this experience must be a minimum of two people.
Unfortunately, we are not able to accomodate dogs on our catering services.
