Gin & Whisky Tasting Train
We have partnered with the award winning Henstone Distillery to bring you our Steam Train Tasting Experience.
£60 per person and includes:
- Two hour steam train journey in our vintage carriages.
- A welcome ‘long drink’ and nibbles on your outward journey.
- During the return journey enjoy a tasting session of four drinks delivered by one of Henstone Distillery’s Master Distillers.
- A Henstone Distillery branded glass to take away.
- A booklet detailing the distillery's history and processes to take away.
Please Note, we offer slightly different experiences on the below dates:
Gin & Whisky Tasting - April 26th, June 7th & September 13th.
Whisky Tasting Only - July 5th.
Gin Tasting Only - August 2nd.
Starting at Llanfair Caereinion (SY21 0SF), you’ll take a beautiful, scenic journey of sixteen miles lasting two hours accompanied by a master distiller. An ideal way to celebrate a special occasion or enjoy quality time with friends.
Online booking is essential via wllr.org.uk. (Passengers for this experience must be aged 18 years or over).
ACCESSIBILITY – Our vintage carriage has a step-up which may be difficult for those with additional access needs, contact us for more information.
Due to carriage seating layout, bookings for this experience must be a minimum of two people.
Unfortunately, we are not able to accomodate dogs on our catering services.
